499 Highland Avenue

 My grandmother, Mary Brent Evans, resided at this address from about 1940 to 1966, when she died. The fence was not there and the home has been updated. Down the street was Harvey's Grocery Store and she walked there to do her shopping. My frugal grandmother, a long-time widow, saved every cotton inside of medicine jars and her closet was a long train of her (once) red hair, but short for the styles of the day.  This was the era of the blue hair and my grandmother certainly had hers! Anyone else?
