Alexander F. Luckie
Peachtree Street scene in 1865. Alexander F. Luckie (1809-1899) served as a Senator from Newton County on 1833. He removed to Atlanta before 1850; enumerated on the 1850 DeKalb County Census in the Arlanta District. He owned a dry goods store as well as a farm on Peachtree Street. His home was probably located on present-day Luckie Street. He later sold the Peachtree Street land to Samuel Inman, Atlanta entrepreneur who built an elegant home.
