Oldest House in Atlanta
This house was located on the rear lot of 18 Trinity Street in Atlanta. It was built in 1842 and the first Mayor of Atlanta slept here. Later, it was sold to Edward W. Holland, a hotel owner, born 1807 in South Carolina. Holland then passed it along to his son and removed to Gainesville, Georgia where he and his wife, Martha, owned a hotel and tan yard.
