Archibald Holland House |
Journal as being "the oldest house in Atlanta." It was located
on Capitol Avenue on the 202-1/2 site drawn by Archibald
Holland in the 1824 Land Lottery. The land was unsuitable
for cattle, so Archibald moved into Paulding County before
1840. Later on, a half-brother, W. E. Holland occupied the house for awhile until he removed to the gold fields in Carroll
County.
