My Childhood Home on Edgewood Avenue #georgiapioneers #history #genealogy

951 was a haven for children, with the park across the street and an easy walk to school.
This old home started its revocations during the 1970s, to a bread-and-breakfast inn.
All of the updates are quite lovely, except the removal of the beautiful tiles from every fireplace, exposing a brash red brick. During the 1940s the homes on this street were served by a wood furnace, and converted to space gas heaters when gas came to the neighborhood.

Access to genealogy records in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
