Buffalo Bill in Atlanta

Bill Cody known as Buffalo Bill was born 1846 in Iowa and died in 1916. The latter portion of his life featured a traveling "Wild West Show". One of the places of exhibit was in Piedmont Park in Atlanta, on the grounds adjoining the railroad spur. When I was little we used to catch a ride on the freight train which went to this spur. In the 1940s Atlantans still spoke of his shows in the park.
