Dorsey house in Lovejoy. The Dorsey's were planters, lawyers and prominent persons in the community. There was a last minute hurry to get out of Atlanta, and the train south was about the only one running. Refugees found safety at Scanty Town near Jonesboro, and Lovejoy.
