1860 Secession Meeting in Atlanta
On December 10, 1860 there a secession meeting in Atlanta followed by a torchlight procession and speeches. The procession commenced on front of the Thompson Hotel and speeches were made by Thomas L. Cooper, General Hansell of Marietta, Captain A. M. Wallace, Dr. A. G. Thomas and Captain G. H. Thompson.
