Finding the Sites of Indian Villages

Creeks established their villages overlooking water courses. There were some 18 villages along the Chattahoochee River near the water works, on Long Island Creek, Nancy Creek, Peavine Creek, Utoy Creek and Camp Creek. Arrow heads, spear heads, knives and tomahawks have been found on these sites. Also, flint and quartz chips.
